Standing With Tiffany's Place

Free To Fly is committed to standing with Hidden Treasures Foundation and the youth survivors they serve. "Our vulnerable youth deserve to have a safe house to live in and grow, and to have loving adults show up for them" says Yolanda Christensen, Founder of Free To Fly.

Hidden Treasures Foundation (HTF) operates a residential treatment program, Tiffany's Place, serving domestic female victims of sex trafficking within the ages of 12 to 17 years old.

Due to COVID challenges and nationwide staffing shortages, their operations were severely impacted in January and February of 2022 creating an unforeseen financial need for March 2022 operations. They anticipate being fully operational again in April 2022.

Tiffany’s Place is a distinct and unique residential treatment facility for adolescent victims of sex trafficking. They serve domestic female identifying youth, ages 12 to 17 years old, who are placed through the foster care or probation system. Tiffany’s Place is currently one of only five treatment programs within the entire state of California, serving child victims of sex trafficking and offering a sanctuary for restoration and healing. It is imperative that HTF provides treatment for these vulnerable youth as this population continues to be grossly underserved. Tiffany's Place has received over 550 referrals for placement of children, since opening in February 2020.

Tiffany’s Place offers the following services: Individual therapy; group therapy; rehabilitation services; medication assistance; access to psychiatric services; independent living skills; family therapy (when applicable); equine therapy; Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) specific therapeutic groups; crisis intervention; substance abuse services; access to tattoo removal services; transition services; education, physical, behavioral, and extracurricular support; and permanency and after-care support services.

Free To Fly has had the honor to help serve some of these children in need of a safe house and place to heal after significant trauma and is committed to bringing freedom and healing from abusers who tried to take the lives of our kids and victimize them. We encourage others, especially our Free To Fly friends and community, to consider standing shoulder to shoulder with Tiffany's Place.

“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples." - Mother Teresa
