Did you know you can help shine a light on human trafficking just by stopping at the rest areas along the way? Since truck stops and rest areas are located between towns along the highway, once a trafficker drops the girls off to be sold, there is no where they can run. Help by being aware, looking for things that are out of place, and reporting anything you see. For the ladies, when you are in the bathrooms and notice a young girl alone, take note and don’t be afraid to engage in conversation. Human trafficking is hidden in plain sight and any help, as little as you believe it might be, can make a difference. A big difference!
