San Diego Gives

As a nonprofit organization, we rely on our eCommerce sales and donations to support our mission. However, we continually look for other funding opportunities, especially as word spreads about Free To Fly.

On March 24, 2023, Free To Fly was approved to join San Diego Gives. San Diego Gives' mission is to ignite generosity, stimulate philanthropy, and foster a sustainable nonprofit sector. They connect more San Diegans to more local causes than ever before through innovative technology, learning opportunities, a 24-hour day of collective giving, and more. San Diego Gives' vision is to envision an unparalleled period of giving - a San Diego County where community members are knowledgeable of community needs and the impactful responses of local nonprofits, helping each person's generosity soar to its full potential.

Although Free To Fly is headquartered in the greater Seattle metropolitan area, we have been serving San Diego County for several years and now have a local presence as well. A wonderful opportunity to partner with us in San Diego County is to create a San Diego Gives Group Giving Page in support of Free To Fly. Group giving is a tool that can be used for employee giving, or any group of individuals that want to come together to support charitable causes. Group giving allows you to create a central page where members of the group can easily find and make donations to Free To Fly. And you can even set up matching grants to help drive donations! If you are interested in creating a Group Giving page either personally, for your business, or for your employer, please begin creating your page here.

Another wonderful opportunity to support Free To Fly in San Diego is to join the movement to GIVE local. On September 7, 2023, San Diego Gives holds their 24-hour online event shining a light on the tremendous work of local nonprofits throughout San Diego County. Register today to be a part of San Diego Gives!

Thank you for considering coming alongside Free To Fly by participating in San Diego Gives.
